Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. With the view to celebrate the occasion and to enhance creativity among the students Rakhi Making Competition was organised on 18th August.The event was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm. The students of class 6 to 8th enthusiastically participated in the competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent They used decorative threads ,stars,mirrors, pearls,matchsticks and flowers for making beautiful Rakhis.
Students of grade VIII C conducted their class assembly on the occasion of 'Muharram'. Students were made aware of the importance of muharram by highlighting the rituals followed by Muslims on this day. The students also shared the religious significance of Muharram. They also shared Imam Hussain and his ideas of kindness, justice and equality.
A seminar for teacher's was conducted on 6th August 2022 by skill Shala.The resource person Mr. Abhishek Bothra focused on various skill based subjects. The session was very interesting and informative which helped us to guide our students for their future endeavour and also help them to overcome their Fear by interacting with others.
The new cabinet members took charge of their portfolios in a Solemn investiture ceremony conducted on 6th August for the secondary section. The head girl Kanishka Pareek 12th commerce took the oath along with the other office bearers. The Principal Rev. Sr. Mabel congratulated and urged them to be responsible leaders and role model for the rest of the school.
The school organized a skill seminar for all the students of class 11th and 12th. In the seminar the students were introduced to many skills. The resource person, Mr Abhishek Bothra addressed the fundamentals of personality development, listening skills and speaking skills. He also highlighted the importance of such workshops.
Hindi elocution competition was organised for class 7. Students presented their speeches in Hindi with different props like charts etc. The evaluation was done on the basis of memory expression, overall effectiveness, voice modulation. The contestants performed marvellously.
Recitation is a public instance of reciting or repeating from memory something prepared in advance.
English recitation competition was organised for class 8. Students participated with zeal and enthusiasm. The competition inspired children to come forward and recite on the stage with confidence. Students were judged on the parameters of confidence voice modulation accuracy and over all presentation. The contestants were applauded by the judges and audience.
A spellbee is a competition in which contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty. To compete, contestants must memorize the spellings of words as written in dictionaries, and recite them accordingly.
A spellbee competition was organised on 21 July for the students of class 6. The students participated with zeal and enthusiasm.
The weeklong summer camp was organized by Sophia Senior Secondary School, Bikaner between 19.5.21 and 26.5.21.
During the camp, students from classes 6- 9 were offered a plethora of activities to keep the students energetic and encouraged.
Amid examinations, students were given the invitation to actively take part in the summer camp to bring back their stamina and vitality again. Here, few students have participated in the Summer Camp to build up their stability and strength to stay firm and healthy.

On this auspicious occasion, we bid adieu to Mr.Amar Singh after his 37 years long service of dedication, generosity, and commitment.
